Quad tour

An adrenaline-filled excursion on our 4x4 quads along trails and roads on Europe’s highest and most active volcano.

The quad excursion is ideal for those who want to discover Etna’s nature while enjoying an off-road adventure. The excursion takes place along the entire route on a quad, automatic and easy to drive, it can safely carry up to a maximum of two people, who will be responsible for their own vehicle.

During the route we will cross an eruptive fissure, riding through long fields of lava and black volcanic sand, and we will visit one of the many wonders that distinguish Etna: a lava-flow cave. We will then stop to see a typical local structure, “U PAGGHIARU”, similar to Sardinian nuraghi or Apulian trulli.

Continuing along the route we will cross Etna’s broom forest, we will descend along lava-flow channels, passing through lunar landscapes and “dagale”, wooded islets surrounded by petrified lava.
We will cross an Etna pine forest, following the bed of a dry stream, where the landscape is marked by the alternation of lava and woods. We will then return to the starting point and finish the Quad Tour.
